What started with 1,566 players on Day 1 is down to six following Day 4 at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Seminole Hard Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open, a $3,500 buy-in tournament in sunny Hollywood, Florida.

The final table, set for 2 p.m. ET Wednesday, features six players all vying for their first WPT title. And, of course, the $778,490 first place prize. Each remaining player is guaranteed at least $170,835, and the pay jumps on Day 5 will be massive.

Six Players Seeking First World Poker Tour Title

Entering the final session with the chip lead is going to be Harout Ghazarian who came into Day 4 with one of the big stacks at nearly 100 big blinds. 2 Jacob Ferro 16,400,000
3 Clayton Maguire 10,325,000
4 Gediminas Uselis 8,900.000
5 Selahaddin Bedir 8,700,000
6 Anshul Rai 875,000

Even worse for him, the blinds will increase after less than five minutes as Tuesday’s session wrapped up late in the level after Willie Wiggins busted in seventh place on the final table bubble.

Brutal Finish for Day 4 Chip Leader

Day 4 was a wild one, especially early on. Fifteen players came back at noon, and it took nearly four hours before any player busted. According to WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage, 13 small stacks won consecutive all-in bets. Scott Levitt was on the losing side of many of those. He entered the day with a massive chip lead but lost six consecutive all ins and was out in 13th place for $48,490, …….
